You can take for granted that people know more or less what a street, a shop, a beach, a sky, an oak tree look like. Tell them what makes this one different.
Hi Tricia, I just had to stop by again. You gave me some inspiring advice a few blogs ago. You shared with me how you didn't consider writing until after your 3rd child. It helped me to just relax and follow God's lead instead of trying to figure out my life's passion and purpose before hand. Anyways, I had thought of contacting my church to write for their newsletter (I go to a very large church). However, I decided to not pursue anything. I prayed specifically that God would allow opportunities to come to me if this is what he was wanting me to do. Today I opened the church bulletin. I couldn't believe it! There it was, a request for someone who has a passion to write or a love to tell stories. They need someone for the newsletter team. My hair stood on ends. I couldn't believe that God would pursue me so quickly, but it was too coincidental for me to ignore. So thanks for helping me chill out and now I'm writing anyways!
